It’s easy to walk when you can see where you are going. It’s a different story when you have to take a step in the dark.
I travel a lot. I sleep in hotels a lot. I forget where I am a lot. Once in a while, I wake up in the middle of the night, and I look around to assess my surroundings before getting out of bed. I don’t want to take a wrong step. I don’t want to feel the intense pain associated with toe stubbing. I want to make sure I know where I’m going.
A similar fear often prevents pastors from planting a church. Once awakened to the need for reproducing churches, many pastors have to take a moment to assess their surroundings, to gain clarity on where they are. They know the first step is critical. They want to make sure they head in the right direction. They want to avoid stubbing their toes on unseen obstacles. They need someone to turn on a light.
That’s one of the primary functions of Regular Baptist Church Planting. We want to come alongside pastors and turn on some lights. We don’t have all the answers, but we are ready to engage with you to better understand the questions. We are prepared to help you navigate the obstacles that can hinder your vision and bring the most pain.
