The USA’s vast missions field is brimming with opportunities for new ministries. Expanding communities, new culture groups, and unreached areas demand our association’s attention. During an upcoming trip to Oregon and California, John and Daria Greening, GARBC national representative and wife, Darrell Goemaat, director of photography, and Clare Jewell, national church planting coordinator, look forward to getting better acquainted with church planters and churches and to surveying pockets of gospel-needy areas.

The nine-day trip will provide opportunities to talk to pastors, churches, and individuals burdened with the desire to reach unbelievers. The association staff’s goal is to become more aware of new and potential future church plants, to encourage pastors and wives personally, to connect church planters to the resources that are available through Regular Baptist Ministries and networking organizations, and to publish news about church planting. Their visit will include interactions with church ministries to Spanish, Vietnamese, Pakistani, Filipino, and Karen (Myanmar) people groups.

Our mission as churches in the association is to make disciples of all nations. We must go beyond our own world of comfort and familiarity to reach people from every tribe, tongue, and nation with the gospel. Our association must keep learning and stretching to truly represent the Body of Christ. It’s not hard to see the field; we live, work, and shop next to people of different ethnicities every day. Rejoice in the vision being cast, pray for the existing and potential new works, and find ways that you can engage in the Regular Baptist Church Planting movement.
