tracy1_inlineOn Facebook, Pastor Tim Heinrich of Crossroads Baptist Church quotes 1 Corinthians 15:58: “Be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord’s work.” The words of the apostle Paul’s charge aptly describe Pastor Tim and Susan Heinrich as they give their all to their church-planting ministry. Their commitment to church ministry shows in the warmth of the fellowship among the members, the Biblical teaching of God’s Word, music that glorifies the Lord, and the attractiveness of their meeting facility. Serving is a family affair, with daughters Janae, Samantha, Alyssa, and Talitha jumping into ministry alongside their parents.

The church’s location of Tracy, California, is quickly filling up with Bay Area commuters largely indifferent to spiritual matters. Pastor Tim and Susan intentionally teach in local schools to get to know the community and build bridges for sharing the gospel. Life is busy for the Heinrichs and has had its share of challenges, including health trials and unexpected expenses, yet they never let personal challenges keep them from diligently serving in their church-planting role.

tracy2_inline1Pastor Tim and Susan have taken the GARBC motto,”Together We Can Accomplish More,” to heart as they have formed friendships with pastors and wives of sister churches in their region. In the spirit of togetherness, Crossroads Baptist Church invited Deaf Baptist Church of San Jose, California, to join a recent worship service. In attendance were Regular Baptist Ministries team members Clare Jewell, Darrell Goemaat, and John and Daria Greening while on their final leg of a West Coast church-planting tour. Kevin and Kenyata Maki, director and wife of International Partnership Ministries.Deaf Ministries, provided interpretation for the deaf. Following the service, all attendees enjoyed fellowship over dinner and cupcakes, prepared by the Crossroads Baptist Church family.
